So, you finally decided to jump in and join the team, but you suddenly realize you have a million things to do and are completely questioning your life decisions. I know I wasn’t the only one. Maybe you have multiple children, you work three jobs, you volunteer on the weekends, you are constantly running errands, and you barely have time to breathe. Well, I’m here to tell you to relax and take a deep breath. You can do this! Here are seven tips that you can use to organize your time and let your business soar:
1. Make a Game Plan – At the beginning of every month, sit down with your planner and make a game plan. Plan out what days you are going to have sales, what days you are going to feature various products, what days you will offer as dates for Facebook parties, etc. I even plan out live video ideas and put them on tentative dates on the calendar. If you write it down, you are more likely to get it done! So make you plan, write it down, and keep it in sight to make sure you follow through.
2. Three Words: Scheduled Facebook Posts – Seriously ladies, this is a life changing concept. If you work a 9-5 job and want to post during the work day, but don’t want to get in trouble for posting during work, you can schedule your Facebook posts! Only downfall is that you can’t do this on a mobile device, but if you jump on your computer every Sunday night, you can schedule out posts for the entire week! You create the post and select the day and time you want the post to be posted, and voila, Facebook does the rest for you!
3. Take Selfies (When You Look Good) – If you are anything like me, some weeks you just have one day of free time and you don’t have the energy to get ready. You run an errand and then you just want to lay around on your couch all day with an extra large glass of rose and binge watch Netflix, right? Right. So, those days when you look HOTT, I’m talking hair done, LipSense on, ready to take on the world, TAKE A SELFIE! Then, you can use it and post it on those days that you’re lounging around in your sweats. The truth is, selfies sell! So, keep a stock pile on your phone as a back up plan for days that you aren’t sure what to post on your makeup group.
4. Work Smarter, Not Harder – Did you just do your first Facebook Party or Launch Party for one of your new downlines? SAVE EVERYTHING! Save the pictures in your photo album on your phone. Save the verbage you used for you posts in your notes application on your phone. That way, you can just copy and paste everything from party to party! Such a huge time saver!
5. Utilize Team Resources – So you want a really nice Welcome Letter to send to your new downlines when you join, but you suck at writing or don’t have time at the moment to create your own letter. Guess what?! There’s a file for that! Make sure you are USING the team resources! We have amazing SeneSisters who are willing to share their resources that they created with the rest of us. Go onto the Facebook groups and browse through the files. I guarantee there is something there that you can use. Also, this website! Send your new downlines here, or peruse through this website if you need a quick answer to a question. These resources are so fantastic for quick answers and to help us not constantly need to recreate the wheel.
6. Down Time PD – Personal Development is so huge in this business! I know sometimes us crazy, busy ladies barely have time to use the restroom let alone read a book or watch a team training. Use your down time wisely! It is SO important to listen to these training videos. If you have a long commute to work, have an office job, are cleaning the house, or are working out, pop in those head phones and listen to the videos! You will still get all of the valuable information without staring at the person’s face. Also, use the application Audible. It is a fantastic resource that has audio books that you can download. Download personal development books and listen to them while you’re doing other things! Trust me, personal development will completely transform your business and your outlook.
7. Be a Product of the Product – Wear your stripes! Wear all of your SeneGence products when you are out! Carry Glossy samples and Beauty Books around with you! All of these are examples of how to be a product of the product. Ladies, our products are SO easy to sell. That is my favorite part about them! People just need to see you rocking them and then you can sell product when you are doing what you are already doing. For example, running to target real quick (HAHA, let’s act like any of us have ever made a quick trip to target) to buy some body wash? Wear your stripes and strike up conversation with the women behind you in line at the check out. Hand her a Beauty Book! Boom, you just got yourself a new potential customer while you were doing what you were already planning on doing that day. It honestly couldn’t be easier!
That’s it ladies. We are all busy! Some of us more than others, but there are still ways to be insanely successful in this business. Use your time wisely and keep a clear vision, and I am you will be wonderfully successful. Time is just a number after all!
